AMSEN’s mission is to provide high-quality, specialized education and support to children with special needs. The true cost of AMSEN’s education program is approximately 8,000,000 /- TZS per child each year, covering essential services like occupational therapy, specialized sports coaching, aqua therapy, and individualized education plans.
However, to make this more affordable for families, AMSEN subsidizes fees, reducing them to 3,500,000 /- TZS. The school absorbs the 4,500,000 TZS/- difference, which amounts to significant operational expenses.
With growing enrollment and the increased demand for these specialized services, some families continue to face financial hardships. A small number struggle to cover even the subsidized fee, making it challenging to sustain their children’s education without support.
